Game Changer UGC

The Game Changer content is to support the Game Changer series that is so popular on the KYBO! YouTube channel. This is a resource of training videos for coaches that covers topics such as movement skills, preparing to tackle and games.

What we want to publish next are videos of some of the games and training approaches you use with your own squad. You can then inspire even more coaches, and maybe even Eddie Jones and some of the Premier League Clubs.

The YMO content is to give boys and girls, who are thinking about becoming a Young Match Official, insights into the fantastic and fun opportunities out there.

We want videos of YMOs in action, talking about being in the centre of the action as well as some motivating words from their mentors.

Pack Your Boots!

Our first UGC project was Alex Marsh’s Pack Your Boots! which you will find in the Community section of the KYBO! Video Library.

Alex is a 23 year-old referee from Gloucester and District Referee Society who, on completion of his degree, decided to travel to New Zealand, Australia and Alaska to find out what refereeing was like in other parts of the world.

The Pack Your Boots! series was hugely popular. On Facebook, the videos were viewed by over 20,000 and reached an audience of 53,000. It just goes to show how powerful UGC can be and why we want to tap into this.

How to send us your UGC

Sending us your video content is easy. All you have to do is record your Game Changer or YMO with a digital camera or mobile device. The KYBO! team will then edit it and get it ready for publication.

There are two ways to send us your videos:

Option 1:  Send us footage via We Transfer (a free file transfer service) to together with your email and mobile phone contact details

Option 2:  Upload your footage to your Google Drive and share it with us at, together with your email and mobile phone contact details.

Once we have received the footage, we will then be in touch to discuss how best to edit and publish it.

If we publish your video then Gift Vouchers, visits to Twickenham and Expert Advice are some of the rewards available. But first, you need to:

  • think about what you can film
  • plan when you are going to record it
  • send us the footage.

We expect to start publishing the KYBO! community videos as from February / March – just in time for the RBS 6 Nations.

We are really looking forward to seeing what you produce! If you have any questions, just email us at
